It is a culmination of experiences, from growing up in Ontario, where beautiful Blue Jays were abundant, to the many mountains experienced over the years in Australia, Northern Thailand, Bali, British Columbia, and Alberta.
The Blue Jay, meticulously detailed in its hand painting and color schematics, is crafted from multiple pieces of unique glass from my private collection, accumulated over the years. It is perched on an apple branch surrounded by apple blossoms, creating a tranquil and beautiful view for both the Blue Jay and the viewer.
